Perfect Pets is a dog grooming and wellness brand. They offer grooming services at their salon and will soon come out with their own line of pet care and wellness products. This project was a brief from ATNN Design's Designer Summer Camp.
This project called for a full brand identity. We started with a strategy based off the brand description. Since we're targeting Gen Z pet parents, we wanted the brand to feel super playful and quirky but still maintain a professional look considering the services offered. We also wanted to add in some fun little icons we can use throughout the website and on product packaging. The flower icon symbolizes the beauty and delicacy of owning a pet.
It's no rare thing to know that Millennials and Gen Z treat their pets as they would their own child. There's an article that came out years ago that stated millennials are buying a house for one of the reasons being so their dog can have their own backyard. We wanted to take this information and create a brand identity that symbolizes just that. As mentioned in the scope, the flower icon symbolizes the beauty and delicacy of owning a pet. Their delicate beings and we're making sure they get the best care and life they deserve,
You may have noticed the "we" in the research part, that's because I am quite literally the target audience for this brand. It felt like a breeze when doing research because I'm familiar with it all, I am the persona! Working with pet brands may be at the top of the list of my favorite brands to work with, so if you need any services that involve boops and snoots, please inquire! I will literally buy you a coffee for our discovery call. :-)
